Bass from the rocks

I managed to sneak off for a couple of afternoon sessions after bass while on holiday in West Wales over the bank holiday weekend.

Fishing a gorgeous, unspoilt coastline with virtually no one else around is very good for the soul. Casting ragworm from the rocks I managed a brace of little bass, both mere ounces rather than pounds, but cracking little fish. I’d love to try for a big one at some stage this summer, this style of fishing makes a real change from coarse fishing.
