Fleeting Autumn

So much to see and do, before the cold weather really begins to bite, yet so little time… Autumn is the most fleeting of seasons.

At this time of year, even an hour in the right spot, at the right time, can pay off. I had these lovely chub and barbel within minutes of each other, during a very quick session when the river had risen slightly after rain.

  1. Short, sweet, lovely chub, you need more time on the bank, you’ve missed some awesome perch action on a local water Ben, think you caught some bream on sweet corn from there a little while back, and yes they are over the magic mark,

    1. Hello Mark. I really do need more time on the bank mate! Nice to hear about some big perch from that pool, I will try and get over before the end of the season. Prawn/worm tactics I presume?

      1. Both of those and maybe something a bit more lively, rules permitting of course ! Worms will be either eeled or f1 , had a couple on drop shot and the old favourite an ondex spinner
